An Introduction to Differentiation- Online Facilitation

<p>This is a remote position.</p><p><span>EEC2002-An Introduction to Differentiation</span><span> </span><br></p><p><span>As an experienced online educator (LINC Fellow), the candidate will work as an independent contractor of LINC and serve a diverse international student body for Undergraduate-level programs studying at premier Australian and Asian universities. Candidate must possess strong knowledge of differentiated teaching and inclusive education, with the ability to guide students in designing and implementing evidence-based instructional strategies that meet the diverse learning needs of all learners. Experience teaching pre-service and/or in-service teachers is preferred.</span><br></p></li> <li><p><span>Valid Teacher’s Registration in Australia (Victorian Teachers Registration preferred) with knowledge and understanding of teacher education policies and practices, including a comprehensive understanding of the AITSL standards across all career stages.</span><br></p></li> <li><p><span>Empathetic, ambitious, warm and outgoing personality willing to work closely with people from diverse cultures; </span><br></p></li> <li><p><span>Proficient in English language; excellent oral and written communication</span><br></p></li> <li><p><span>Must possess  a working laptop and have access to high-speed  (>10 MBPS) stable internet connection; </span><br></p></li> <li><p><span>Ability to quickly learn and use technology platforms for interacting with students, including the host university’s LMS and LINCtrac (training on these platforms will be provided).</span><br></p></li> </ul><p><span>The candidate needs to be available between 5pm to 10pm every day.</span><br></p><p><span>Roles & Responsibilities</span><span> </span><br></p><p><span>LINC Fellows will be responsible for providing: </span><br></p> <ol> <li><p><span>Subject matter guidance to a group of 20-25 undergraduate online students;  </span><br></p></li> <li><p><span>Support in learning skills like academic writing, research and time management; </span><br></p></li> <li><p><span>Conduct 1:1 sessions for doubt-resolution, academic guidance and assessment draft reviews;</span><br></p></li> <li><p><span>Guidance on relevant reference material; </span><br></p></li> <li><p><span>Assessment marking with long-form feedback </span><br></p></li> <li><p><span>Management of discussion forums; and</span><br></p></li> <li><p><span>Proactive, prompt and personalised support to student queries and issues.</span><br></p></li> </ol><p><span>LINC Fellows will be expected to promptly interact with students over email, or calls / online sessions from locations of their convenience (e.g. home, office, etc.).</span><br></p> <div> <br> </div><br>
