Amazon PPC Advertising Specialist

About the Role

We're a fast-growing eCommerce company building out our in-house advertising team, and we're looking for an experienced Amazon PPC Specialist to own campaign performance across a large private-label catalog.

This is a hands-on role for someone who has already managed real budgets across hundreds of SKUs and can walk through the reasoning behind every decision — not just the dashboard. You'll report to our lead strategist, but you'll own your accounts and be trusted to make the calls.

What You'll Do

  • Build, manage, and scale Amazon PPC campaigns (Sponsored Products, Brands, and Display) across hundreds of SKUs
  • Develop and execute launch strategies for new private-label products
  • Own reporting at both the ASIN and account level — daily, weekly, and monthly
  • Run P&L analysis on individual products and full accounts to connect ad spend to actual profit
  • Monitor and optimize ACOS, TACOS, ROAS, and ROI against clear targets
  • Manage and balance budget and performance across multiple Amazon accounts
  • Flag issues and surface insights to internal teams quickly during launches and peak periods
  • Clearly explain your campaign structure, bidding logic, and methodology to the team

What You Need

  • 3+ years of direct, hands-on Amazon PPC experience managing live budgets
  • Deep working knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, Campaign Manager
  • A track record managing large catalogs and private-label products
  • Experience supporting product launches with paid strategy
  • The ability to explain why a product is or isn't profitable using campaign data
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills — pivot tables, lookups, and building your own reports
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Availability to work on-site with our Brooklyn team

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Google Ads (Search, Shopping, PMax) or Meta Ads
  • Familiarity with tools like Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Atom11, Claude
  • Experience with Amazon DSP
  • Exposure to email, TikTok, or other paid channels

How to Apply

Along with your resume, please answer these in a short note:

  • Walk us through one account you've managed: catalog size, monthly ad spend, and where ACOS/TACOS landed when you took over versus when you left.
  • Describe a campaign structure you've built and why you structured it that way.
  • Tell us about a time you cut or reallocated spend and what happened to profit.

Applications without these answers won't be reviewed.
