Accountant cum Office Administrator
About the Role We are hiring an Accountant cum Office Administrator who will be the backbone of our Kochi office managing the company's day-to-day accounting, statutory compliance, and office operations. This is a handson role in a fastmoving startup environment, ideal for someone who is organised, proactive, and comfortable wearing multiple hats. Key Responsibilities Accounts & Finance Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping using Tally Raise client invoices for projects and track receivables until payment realisation Process projectrelated payments, vendor payments, and employee reimbursements Maintain accurate records of bank transactions, petty cash, and expense vouchers Perform monthly bank reconciliation and support cash flow tracking Coordinate with the company's Chartered Accountant for finalisation of accounts and audits Statutory Compliance Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns (GSTR1, GSTR3B, annual returns) Handle TDS deduction, deposit, and quarterly return filing Maintain compliance calendars and ensure zero missed statutory deadlines Support documentation for tenders, client onboarding, and vendor registrations (PAN, GST, MSME, etc.) Office Administration Oversee general administration of the Kalamassery office supplies, utilities, vendor coordination, and facility upkeep Maintain organised records of contracts, work orders, purchase orders, and statutory documents Coordinate travel bookings, courier/dispatch, and logistics for the team Act as the first point of contact for officerelated matters Required Qualifications & Skills B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification in commerce/accounting 12 years of handson experience in accounting and office administration, preferably in a startup or small/medium enterprise Proficiency in Tally (Tally Prime/ERP 9) voucher entry, ledgers, invoicing, and reports Working knowledge of GST and TDS filing processes and portals Strong attention to detail, integrity, and ability to handle confidential financial information Good communication skills in English; Hindi is a plus Selfdriven and able to manage multiple responsibilities independently with minimal supervision
